Slingshot Dakota
Slingshot Dakota is an American band from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Currently a keyboard-and-drums duo with interlacing male and female vocals, the group's music has drawn comparisons to Mates of State, Matt and Kim, Rainer Maria, and 1997.
==History==
Slingshot Dakota formed in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania as a three-piece, issuing their debut, ''Keener Sighs'', in 2004; at the time the group was composed of Comando (who is originally from Long Island) along with Pat Schramm and Jeff Cunningham, both members of the band Latterman.
